Douglas Eugene Neff 60 of Strasburg, VA passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Hawksbill Assisted Living in Luray, VA.

A funeral service for Douglas will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Walnut Springs Christian Church with Rev. Wendell Schurtz officiating.  Burial will follow in the Walnut Springs Cemetery.

Douglas was born in Woodstock, VA to William N. and Esta Smith Neff.  He was a 1982 graduate of Strasburg High School and a member of the Walnut Springs Christian Church where he served as a former deacon, member of the choir and the men's bible class.  He was preceded in death by his former foster mother, Mrs. Bowman of Seven Fountains in the Fort Valley community.

Douglas is survived by his long time and devoted caregivers whom he considered his parents Jimmie and Norma Neff along with Rhonda Sager (Clark), Michael J. Neff (Jo), Troy Neff (Pam) and a host of other extended family.
