Douglas Albert Hodson, 65, of Stephenson, VA passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.

A graveside service for Mr. Hodson will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Walnut Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Hodson was born in Winchester, VA on November 26, 1957, a son of the late Albert and Cornelia Ann Wymer Hodson.  Mr. Hodson worked as a heavy equipment operator.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Diane Hockman.

Survivors include his children Daryl Hodson of Strasburg, VA and Brian Spears of Sterling, VA; his grandchildren Bennett Spears and Shepherd Spears; the mother of his children Donna Hart; his siblings Phyliss Darr (Wayne), Timothy Hodson, Lisa Long (Rick), Wilby Hodson (Diane), Cornelia Hodson, and Lester Hodson all of Strasburg, VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
