Donald Lee Smith, 92, of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV.

Mr. Smith was born in Strasburg, VA on September 8, 1931, a son of the late Vivian Girard and Ida Mabel Golliday Smith.  He was a U.S. Veteran having retired from the U.S. Navy.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Guida Gay Kumalae; a grandson Jerad Feathers; a great grandson Shawn Feathers and siblings Edward Melvin "Buddy" Smith, Lloyd Bradford Smith, and Paul Kenneth Smith.

Survivors include his wife Delphia Mae Arnold Smith; his children Wilma Lee Boyce, Sherry Dawn Blanchard, and Lisa Katherine Wise; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mr. Smith will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Warren officiating.  Mr. Smith will be laid to rest privately.  The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
