Donald James "Donnie" Morris, age 80, of Strasburg passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center.

Graveside rites will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg with Pastor Rob Wescoat officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Shenandoah American Legion Post No. 77, Strasburg. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Mr. Morris was born October 25, 1937 in Shenandoah County, the son of the late Wilbur Webster and Anna Mary Airhart Morris. He served in both the United States Navy and the United States Army. He was employed at the Front Royal Baptist Church and was a member of the Shenandoah American Legion, Post No. 77, Strasburg.

Surviving are three sisters, Margaret Morris, of Strasburg, Mildred Dawson of Venezuela and Mary Funk of Strasburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
