Dennis Gene Stickley, 67, of Strasburg, VA passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Consulate Healthcare of Woodstock, VA.

A graveside service for Mr. Stickley will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at St. Stephen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Stickley was born in Shenandoah County, VA on July 26, 1955, a son of the late Galeen Eugene and Betty Ellen Kingree Stickley.  He was a retired truck driver, and an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and camp with his boys.

Survivors include his children Joshua Shane Stickley (Elizabeth) of Strasburg, VA, Kristopher Caine Stickley (Veronica Estefania Salazar Najera Stickley) of Winchester, VA; his grandchildren Sofia Raine Stickley Salazar, Kristopher Alexander Stickley Salazar; step grandchildren Jason Ottiniel Gomez and Ashley Marie Windsor; his siblings Gary Stickley (Vickie), Wayne Stickley, Gallen Stickley, Jr. (Patty), and Theresa Wright (Tim) all of Strasburg, VA; his step-father William Malone; his companion Barbara Riker along with numerous nieces and nephews.
