Delphia Mae Arnold Smith, 91, of Strasburg, VA passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Smith was born in Tennessee on November 30, 1932, a daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Birdie Rebecca Sara Jane Richards Arnold.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Smith and eight siblings.

Survivors include her children Wilma Lee Boyce, Sherry Dawn Blanchard, and Lisa Katherine Wise; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her siblings Rebecca "Minnie" Miller, Oscar Arnold, Jeanette Arnold, Lucinda Culler, Margaret Sadlick, Tania Cutler, and Martha Sadlick along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home.  Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest privately. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.  Ladies are asked to wear hats to honor the memory of Mrs. Smith.
