Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Wilson passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Winchester in 1952, the daughter of the late Andrew Danko and Mary Lineweaver. She graduated from Strasburg High School and attended Lord Fairfax Community. Her passion was her family and the children of the community. She worked at St Paul's Lutheran Daycare for nearly 20 years and after retirement she was childcare provider at Strasburg Christian Church. She was affectionately known as "Ms. Debbie" by the many children she cared for throughout the years. Her and her husband recently celebrated 50 happy years of marriage.
She is survived by her husband Rickie Wilson, Sr.; children Krysta Weatherholtz (Kevin), Rickie Wilson, Jr. (Carla). She is also survived by her grandchildren Mason Weatherholtz, Brady Weatherholtz, Kaytlyn Fadeley and Eric Fadeley. In addition, she leaves behind a sister, Kathy Evans (Rick), and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her stepfather, Marshall Lineweaver.
A private funeral service will be held at Strasburg Christian Church. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. A celebration of this kind woman's life will be planned at a later date. You may stop by Stover Funeral Home to sign the guest register on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 between the hours of 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Strasburg Christian Church, Strasburg Rescue Squad, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
