Clifford James "C.J." Doughty, II, 48, of Woodstock, VA passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his home in Woodstock, VA.

C.J was born in Ohio on August 23, 1976, a son of Holly Susan Doughty and the late Eugene Ray Doughty.  CJ's heart was dedicated to showing every child who crossed his path kindness and compassion, allowing them to know that such a thing existed in a world full of chaos. He dedicated his Life and Career to Trucking to provide for not only his family but all the people in the world. Leaving behind his loved ones was not something he ever wanted however they all know that he loved them fiercely and the memories made will live on for many lifetimes.

Survivors include his wife, Brittany Doughty; his children Clifford Doughty III, Casey Doughty; his god daughter Emmalee McKinney; his stepchildren Christopher Pangle Jr., Colton Pangle, and Destiny Pangle; his brother Dustin Doughty along with his lifelong best friend, Amanda Livingood Long

A celebration of life gathering will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Shenandoah American Legion Post 77, Strasburg, VA followed by a trucking memorial convoy ride home.

C.J. traveled the country with a smile and great pride. Now he travels the streets of Heaven on the Truckers Last Ride. May God Ride With You. 10-4 and Goodbye.
