Charles Adam Ritenour 81 of Fort Valley, VA passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at his residence.

A funeral service for Mr. Ritenour will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Stover Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Crowder officiating.  Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Ritenour was born in Shenandoah County, VA on March 11, 1941, a son of the late Clyde Maynard and Isabel Clem Ritenour.  He was a member of the Trinity Brethren Church and a 1959 graduate of Strasburg High School.  Mr. Ritenour worked Avtex, Inc until its closure and later worked for Boeing Corporation as an electronic technician.  He enjoyed working on cars, hunting, and NASCAR races. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Clyde Wayne Ritenour.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Roberta Miller Ritenour; his children Lisa Ann Ritenour and Charles Adam Ritenour, Jr (Stacey) all of Fort Valley, VA; one grandson Nathan Alan Painter; a great granddaughter Ashlyn Grace Painter; nephews Darren Wayne Ritenour and Brendan Staley.

Pallbearers will be Charles Ritenour, Jr., Nathan Painter, Brendan Staley, Darren Ritenour, Chris Tamkin, and Daniel Golliday.

Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Miller, Jesse Austin, Barbara L. Miller, and Mary L. Miller.
