Brenda Lane Stepp, age 71, of Maurertown died Monday, October 30, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Columbia Church of the Brethren, 20910 Senedo Road, (Route 42) Edinburg with Rev. William Fitchett officiating. A luncheon will follow the service in the fellowship hall of the church.

Mrs. Stepp was born December 2, 1945 in Woodstock, a daughter of the Nancy Pingley Boyd of Front Royal and the late George Ray Pingley. She was a member of Strasburg United Methodist Church, a caregiver and a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Harold William "Billy" Stepp; her children, Troy R. Pence of Capon Springs, WV, Todd E. Pence of Harpers Ferry, WV, Toby W. Pence of Wardensville, WV, Tammy L. Harvey of Parkersburg, WV and Tracie L. Fitchett of Fort Valley; twelve grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
