Bonnie Graw Garrett, 87 of Oranda VA, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester VA. She was born on November 25,1937, in Williamsport PA, to the late Dan E. Graw and Fannie M. Graw. Bonnie grew up primarily in Shenandoah County and was a proud graduate of Strasburg high school.

Bonnie's love for animals was evident throughout her life, as she shared her home in Oranda with many dogs and cats over the years. She was employed at IAC Strasburg for 35 years, where she made lasting memories and formed many friendships.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Garrett, who she was married to for 58 years until his passing on March 7, 2020. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Linda Bieber and Shirley Reese Smith.

Bonnie is survived by her cherished son, Wade Garrett, and wife Carole, along with her cherished grandchildren, Jordan and Amber, of Stephens City, VA. She is also survived by her two brothers: Charles Graw and Dan Graw, and her niece Wendy Bieber.

A graveside service for Mrs. Garrett will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, at Panorama Memorial Gardens in Strasburg, VA.

In lieu of flowers, Bonnie requested the donations be made to an animal shelter, rescue organization, or animal welfare charity of your choice in her honor.
