Betty Ann Wisman McCoy, 92, of Woodstock, VA passed away Monday, June 22, 2026, at her home in Woodstock.

Mrs. McCoy was born in Virgina on April 30, 1934, a daughter of the late Clarence Luther and Golda Mae Hottle Wisman. She married John Franklin McCoy in 1952 and they were married for 67 years before his passing in 2019. She was a graduate of Toms Brook High School and worked with her husband in the family business, Cardinal Electrical Supply. She attended and was a faithful member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Louise Carter and Jean Artz and a grandson, Sid Chapman.

Survivors include her children, Lynn McCoy and wife Ellen of Lexington, VA, Dale McCoy and wife Mary of Marietta, GA, Johnette Chapman of Strasburg, VA, Patricia Ritter and husband Robert of Maurertown, VA; her grandchildren, John McCoy, Corey Chapman, Elizabeth Karcher, Ryne McCoy, Stasha Flannery and Eric Flannery; her great-grandchildren, Corey Chapman, Jr., Andrew McCoy, Cole Chapman, Kailey Flannery, Addison Cofield, Myah Flannery, Emerson Locklear and Lawson Karcher, Floyd Chapman, Avery Karcher, Caroline McCoy, Hudson McCoy, and Lane McCoy.

A visitation for Mrs. McCoy will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Stover Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.
