Betty Hawkins Elliott Betty Ann Hawkins Elliott 77 of Strasburg, VA, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA. A graveside service for Mrs. Elliott will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Dusty Dillman officiating. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. and go in procession to the cemetery for the service. Mrs. Elliott was born in St. Louis, MO on July 25, 1940 a daughter of the late Glenn and Jessie Weis Hawkins and step daughter of the late Rosemarie Hawkins. She was the wife of the late Thomas Chapman "Tommy" Elliott, Jr. Together they build homes, raised race horses and managed No Frills Food Warehouse and was also a caregiver. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Star Tannery. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Wayne Dillman. Survivors include three sisters, Carol Dillman of Berryville, VA, Glenna Fox and husband Carl of Martinsburg, WV, Cheryl Betts and husband Ike of Inwood, WV; one sister-in-law Janet McDonald of Strasburg, VA; an aunt, Gloria Hawkins along with numerous nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be Jonathan Fox, Chaz Fox, Tres Betts, Hunter Carecafe, Dalton Dillman, Justin Dillman and Bubby Dillman.Memorials may be made to Strasburg Vol. Rescue Squad, P.O. box 620, Strasburg, VA.
