Bethel Louise Funk, age 86, a resident of Middletown, VA passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her residence.

Services and burial for Mrs. Funk will be conducted privately.

Mrs. Funk was born in Frederick County, VA on October 3, 1934 a daughter of the late John Theodore and Laura Virginia Spitler Neff.  She attended Meadow Mills Church of the Brethren and had a love of animals.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Funk and siblings David Neff, Boyd Neff, Katherine Bowers, Anna Bell Neff, and Mabel Lam.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 67 years, Dorsey Allen Funk of Middletown, VA; her children Joan Funk (Ken Post) of Middletown, VA, Dan Funk (Beverly) of Middletown, VA and Teresa Harris (Mike) of Stephens City, VA; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her siblings Franklin Neff, and Lula Mae Neff both of Strasburg, VA; her caregivers Nicole Norris, Maria Woodward, Teresa Brown and Becky Helmick along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Warren County, 1245 Progress Drive, Front Royal, VA 22630.
