Ann Anderson Copeland, 85, of Middletown, VA passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026, at her home in Middletown.

Mrs. Copeland was born in Loudoun County, VA, on May 5, 1941, a daughter of the late Russell W. and Vergie Mae Dodson Anderson. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Middletown, VA. Mrs. Copeland retired from Crown Cork & Seal in Winchester having worked for 37 years. She loved working outside in her flowers and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Shirley Early and Linda Shoemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, John A. Copeland, her daughter Lisa Ann Copeland along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service for Mrs. Copeland will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 29, 2026, at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Lock officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
