Alice Booth Mowery, 79, of Strasburg, VA passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.

Services and the burial for Mrs. Mowery will be held privately.

Mrs. Mowery was born in Winchester, VA on March 17, 1944, a daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Ruth Allen Booth.  She was a graduate of James Madison University and worked as a librarian with the Frederick County Public Schools.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Allen Mowery and a sister Grace Deel.
