Alma Louise “Boot” Kane 84, a resident of Stephens City, VA passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.
A graveside service for Alma will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Alum-Bank Cemetery in Wardensville, West Virginia with Rev. Frankie Roberts officiating.
Alma was born in Wardensville, WV on September 8, 1934 a daughter of the late George Arthur and Cloy Elizabeth Ball Cain. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Winchester Medical Center for 27 years and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her companion James “Keg” Bryant; five brothers, George “Butch” Cain, Kenny Ball, Charles Cain James “Pete” Cain and Calvin Cain.
Survivors include her children Roger L. Cain (Tammy), Larry D. Cain (Jackie), Cynthia “Crissy” R. Renzy (Sonny) and Greg A. Cain (Karen); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Georgia M. Cain of Ohio and a brother, Harold “Sonny” Cain along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7-8 p.m.
